Savoury, fresh, sauvage.
A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, primarily estate fruit -- with some Okanagan blended in.
It is decidedly more masculine and sauvage in style, offering aromas of dried herbs, smoked brown spices, roasted green bell peppers atop espresso, dark chocolate, plums, black currents and pencil shavings. Freshness shows well on the palate; it is meaty and savoury in the mouth as well, with dark mocha, roasted spices, grilled meats, tobacco and black fruits.
It's a substantial wine showcasing its Lillooet roots.
